Mentoring is an age-old practice of transferring knowledge and experience through personal relationships. But how many of us know if we're "mentoring material?"
Should we mentor or would we benefit from a mentor?
The truth of the matter is we all have skills, stories, and guidance to share. This workshop helps you understand who and what a mentor is and how valuable you can be to another person needing help. Learn how the mentorship relationship is unique in that the mentor doesn’t just “give advice,” but is also part of personal trusted relationship between two people where questions, advice, knowledge and discussion flow back and forth openly. Plus, you'll learn when to stop mentoring someone and when you should be "fired" from your mentoring job
All are encouraged to attend. If you need mentoring, you might just connect with someone and who knows, you might discover your knowledge and experience is just the thing someone else needs.
This conversational workshop is led by Brad Attig, Director Foundry Collective. Part discussion, part mentoring, part networking, one key objective is to connect people to people.
If you're a service provider, small business owner, educator, nonprofit leader, student. entrepreneur or just curious, please register and attend.
This workshop will be live streamed via Facebook - Check back for details and the live stream link.
